The PS-21 detrashing screen is used in recycled paper and pulp processing. After waste paper is mixed with water in a pulper, the screen separates usable fiber from contaminants such as: Plastic film String and rope Wire Staples and metal fragments Tape Large debris and trash The unit is typically part of a detrashing system, where pulp slurry passes through perforated screens while larger contaminants are retained and discharged.
